SMART, COMPACT DESIGN AND QUICK ASSEMBLY

The BRUIN is our smallest TuffBoxx model, but don’t let the size fool you. This compact bear resistant garbage bin is large enough to hold 4 bags of garbage, and is probably large enough for most of your requirements. Its top-loading lid allows garbage and other waste items to be easily placed inside for secure storage, keeping out bears and other wildlife.

These TuffBoxxes are suitable for curbside collection or for intermediate storage of garbage until taken to your municipal waste management center. All TuffBoxx containers are made in a ready to assemble design, and the bins are shipped unassembled in boxes.

BUILT TO KEEP THEM OUT

Even the base version of the BRUIN is strong enough to keep out smaller critters like raccoons, squirrels, rats, and smaller Black Bears. To meet the requirements of being a Certified Bear Proof Garbage bin, you will need to add the Bear Guard brackets, which prevent bears from being able to grab the lids and potentially bend them.

With these brackets the BRUIN is able to stand up to all Black and mid sized (up to 600 lbs.) Grizzly Bears. This makes it one of the most reliable options for compact bear resistant garbage storage.

Secured Protection

The BRUIN can be securely mounted to a concrete pad or other solid base with the mounting system that is built into the bottom of the bin’s base. It can also be secured with a chain (up to 1/4”) or cable to a tree or other secure post.

With it’s strong durable construction, the BRUIN bin provides some of the strongest animal resistant storage money can buy.
